It’s been a tough couple of years for the nightlife industry across the globe, and Zante nightlife is no exception to that. If you visited in 2020 or 2021, undoubtedly you’ll have had an awesome time, but wait until you see what 2022 has in store.
Most of the bars worked extremely hard throughout the pandemic to ensure hygiene and safety requirements were met for them to be able to open, albeit at a vastly reduced capacity.
Nightclubs as a whole remained shut and some haven’t been able to open at all since 2019, this includes Pure Zante, one of the most famous Beach Club’s on the island, bringing International acts and DJ’s weekly.
This looks all set to change for 2022, with the majority of restrictions planned to be lifted, the bars and clubs of Laganas and the rest of Zakynthos are preparing for the busiest summer in history.
The biggest ad most well known venues seem to have fought through 2 extremely tough years and managed to stay afloat, meaning the main strip will be back to it’s best in no time. CherryBay, Zeros, Rescue Club and all the Zante favourites will be back in full force for summer 2022, opening as early as 1st May.
Events will be going ahead as planned too, make sure you book these in advance to guarantee availability in what’s set to be a very busy summer. Just make sure you’re booking legitimate events through legitimate companies as there are a lot of chancers out there.
